Discovery for nutritional digital product.
The world of healthcare for digital products was quite new for me until MedioMelon allowed me to collaborate with tin this amazing project related to nutrition and obesity. We start to doing a lot if user reaserch. We reach 108 people in groups with intentionally specific attributes (range age, gender etc... ) to find patterns of behavior around the workout and food routines. What we discover was so interesting.
We follow Service Design methods to categorize preferences and behaviors, give sense of all the information gathered to start findig needs in the healthcare market, understand deeply the main needs and pains the people suffer each day and try to solve why is so hard to achive our healthy goals.
Then becomes an exercise in information design and information architecture. What information truly needs to be on the screen? What information can we hide or leave out without posing a risk to patient safety? How should the information be prioritized on the screen, or how do we give it a hierarchy? Can it be summarized in brief allowing the user to dig deeper should they so need to?.
